Meet Our Team

Dr. Nuhfer was born and raised near Titusville, Pennsylvania, and is the youngest of six children. After high school, she attended the University of Pittsburgh for dental assisting and dental hygiene. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in education from the California University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Nuhfer continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, earning her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry in 1986.

Dr. Nuhfer gained her dental experience in a private practice in York, Pennsylvania, and Baltimore, Maryland. After moving to Erie and working at the Martin Luther King Center, she began an associateship with Dr. Ben Mosier in 1995. When Dr. Mosier retired in 1998, Dr. Nuhfer acquired the practice and made North East her home.

Dr. Nuhfer has three wonderful, grown children, Andrew, Adam and Lisa. She also has a Toy Schnauzer named T-Bone that comes to work most days and gets spoiled by staff and patients alike. Dr. Nuhfer enjoys traveling in her free time.

Dr. Fleisig grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. After years in the sweltering summer heat, she decided to see if she could survive a northern winter and moved up to Pittsburgh. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her Bachelor of Science in economics. Four years later, she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine with a well-rounded dental education.

Dr. Fleisig realized the winters in Pittsburgh were not quite cold or snowy enough for her liking and decided to move even farther north. She considers herself extremely fortunate to have found such a wonderful opportunity as a member of the North East Dental Arts team!

Dr. Fleisig lives in Erie with her husband and their new dog Obi. She loves spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

Dr. Rieck went to Clarion University of Pennsylvania for his undergrad and then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. He has been with the North East Dental Arts team since 2017. Dr. Rieck was born in Butler, Pennsylvania, and moved to Harborcreek with his wife, Amanda, after graduating.

Dr. Rieck enjoys fishing, traveling and watching NASCAR races in his free time.

Dr. Blaine Bell was born and raised in Harborcreek, PA.  He attended Gannon University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology.  He then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he graduated with honors. While in dental school, he was admitted as a member of Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honorary Dental Society.  Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Bell had further training for one year in a General Practice residency program at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Bell takes great pride in giving excellent personalized dental service, always thinking of what’s best for the patient.  After hours Dr. Bell enjoys spending time with his family.

Dr. Wilcko offers specialized dental implant services at North East Dental Arts.

Bryanna just joined our team in 2024 as our greeter! She is excited to learn about the dental field and welcome our patients! Bryanna is from Westfield, New York, but she loves the North East community!

Outside of work hours, Bryanna enjoys doing nails and spending time with her fiancé Brandon.

Valerie joined the North East Dental Arts in July, as part of our front office team! Valerie is originally from New York, but spent the last 14 years in Virginia Beach with her husband Tim, who just retired from the Navy. She has many years of experience in the dental field and has a passion for oral healthcare.

Valerie enjoys spending time with her 2 boys, Ethan and Jaden after work. They like to go kayaking when the weather is nice!

Jade joined the North East Dental Arts team in 2024. She is excited to be a part of the dental field and provide the customer service we are known for at check out. Jade was born and raised in Erie, PA and loves the North East community.

In her spare time Jade enjoys hiking and roller blading around the peninsula. She lives in Erie with her boyfriend Bradley and their 2 dogs named Link and Zeus, they also have a cat named Trevor that likes to wear sweaters!

Shannon joined North East Dental Arts from a retiring practice in March 2022. She has been in the dental field for the past 20 years and is excited to further strengthen our office with her skills. Shannon was born and raised in Ripley, New York, then moved to North East 18 years ago.

She enjoys being a mom to 4 wonderful children.

Tiffany joined our team in July 2019. She has over 15 years of experience in the dental field, from dental assisting to front desk and everything in between. Now, she is excited to be working behind the scenes as Dr. Nuhfer’s personal and business assistant.

After hours, you will usually find Tiffany spending time at home with her 2 children, Noah and Mason.  She enjoys cooking, baking and doing art projects.

Lindsey joined North East Dental Arts in 2022 as a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Edinboro University and then continued her education at Fortis Institute to earn her dental hygiene license. Lindsey is a local of North East and is happy to be working in the community!

After work Lindsey enjoys outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and of course spending time with her family and friends.

Shari joined North East Dental Arts in 2022, after the office she was with retired. She graduated from the University of Pittsburg in 1983. Shari grew up in Warren, PA, but has lived in North East for the past 38 years. She is excited to continue providing quality dental care with our practice.

Shari enjoys spending time with her husband Lou, daughter Heather, and her son Kevin.

Dory joined the North East Dental Arts team in January 2020 and has worked in the dental field for over 30 years. Dory first attended Tech Memorial High School for dental assisting and then later attended the University of Pittsburgh’s dental hygiene program. Dory also graduated with a bachelor’s in dental hygiene education from Edinboro University. Recently, Dory completed her long time goal of obtaining a public health dental hygiene license.

Today, Dory lives in Harborcreek with three of her four children and her dog, Eddie. She loves reading, music, game nights (especially her Bunco league) and new adventures!

Jordyn, originally from Harborcreek, joined the North East Dental Arts team as a registered dental hygienist in 2016. Jordyn has a passion for dental hygiene because she enjoys making others happy about their smiles!

In her free time, Jordyn loves going to the beach and spending time with her family.

Leah is a dental assistant here at North East Dental Arts. She joined our team in 2022. Leah is excited to assist our doctors in providing excellent patient care. Leah grew up and still lives here in North East. She graduated from North East High School and was on the dance team!

Outside of work Leah enjoys spending time with family and going to baseball games.

Bethany joined North East Dental Arts in 2022 as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA). She attended Tri-State for her dental assisting diploma, then wanted to further her education and graduated from Harcum in Philly to earn her EFDA! This allows her to place and finish restorations allowing the dentist to complete more treatment.

Bethany lives in Harbor Creek with her husband and their 3 children.  When she is not busy with Lexah, Adelaide, and Bentley she likes to relax and binge watch TV!

Rae joined our team as a dental assistant in 2019 after completing her externship with North East Dental Arts. She graduated from Great Lakes Institute of Technology and is a great addition to our team. Rae is always eager to learn more about the dental field.

Rae lives here in North East and enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and going kayaking.

Gabby joined our team as a dental assistant in 2025. She is originally from Michigan, but recently moved to Erie to be with her boyfriend attending pharmacy school. She brings 5 years of caring for patients dental health and is excited to provide her experience to the North East community.

In her free time she enjoys anything to do with art and playing Nintendo Switch!

Paige joined North East Dental Arts as our sterilization tech in 2025. She is a North East local and is interested in learning more about the dental field. You might find her expanding her skills by assisting the doctors.

After hours she enjoys reading, swimming, and perfect for Erie weather snowboarding!

Char just joined the North East Dental Arts family as our in-house dental lab technician. She has over 45 years of experience as a tech and owned her own dental laboratory for 33 years. She wanted a more flexible schedule, so she joined our team and will be doing denture relines and repairs on site.

Born and raised in Erie, Char enjoys watching her grandchildren playing sports and being outdoors.
