Responsibilities:

  • Welcome & prepare patients for treatment
  • Assist dentists & anticipate dentists’ needs

Requirements:

Must be a certified dental hygienist with a current PA license
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
Computer competence with digital charts, x-rays and scheduling software
Confidence to accurately address patient oral health needs and concerns

Meticulous attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares treatment room by adhering to practice procedures and protocols.
  • Welcome, seat & prepare patients for hygiene treatment.
  • Ensure patient comfort before, during & after hygiene treatment.
  • Engage & form a genuine connection with patients during hygiene visits.
  • Document histories, charting and dental services performed in patient records.
  • Perform radiographic studies for evidence of caries, bones loss and developmental anomalies.
  • Complete dental prophylaxis by thoroughly cleaning deposits and stains from teeth.
  • Arrest dental decay by applying fluorides, sealants and other cavity-preventing agents as needed.
  • Perform periodontal maintenance including scaling and root planing.

  • Ensure proper operation of dental equipment.
  • Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies only as needed.
  • Maintain safe working environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Partner with entire practice team to ensure the best patient experience possible.
