Community Involvement

Proud to be an annual host of Dentistry From The Heart,

a day focused on giving to the community through free dental care.

Adults 18 and older who may otherwise be unable to receive dental care are welcome to attend this event. Attendees can choose to have one of the following services provided to them at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis:

  • Cleanings
  • Filling
  • Extractions

Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) was founded in New Port Richey, Florida, by Dr. Vincent Monticello in 2001. This is a worldwide, non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing free dental care to adults in need. Every year, dentists, hygienists, and volunteers from practices all over the world donate their time to host this all-day event. There have been as many as 300 events held around the world every year.

Over the past 4 years, North East Dental Arts has donated over $40,000 in free dental care, spreading smiles to over 175 people!

24 volunteers pose for a photo from the 2018 Dentistry From the Heart event.

Habitat for Humanity 2019

Our office is full of team members who want to help out in our community. In July, we gathered at a home being built in Erie to help a family working to building their first home. It was a rewarding experience, and many of our team members have never worked for this organization before. We learned some amazing skills, like how to hang drywall, which turned into a lot of fun!

Special thanks to everyone who took time out of their day to help a family in need and learn some valuable skills. We had a blast and we’re sure to be participating again next year. If you have a volunteer opportunity in North East, Harborcreek, and the surrounding area let us know!
